How and why we use information

We use information where it is needed to provide the service or fulfil a purchase, comply with legal obligations, protect the service and users, or where you have given consent.

Information involving other people

Account holders and purchasers must be 18 or over. Users are responsible for having permission or another lawful basis to submit information or media involving other people, including children.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, content storage and delivery providers, billing, transactional email, and backup operations.

International processing

Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. We use contractual and operational safeguards appropriate to those arrangements.

Retention, archive and deletion

Records are retained while needed for service delivery, legal obligations, accounting, security, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.

Archived Experiences remain stored. Where deletion is approved, associated uploaded media is handled through our deletion-request process.

Encrypted backups

Encrypted backup copies expire through our backup-retention period rather than being removed immediately from every historical backup.
